The open championship of Kyrgyzstan in ice climbing took place in the Ala-Archa gorge
Recently, the open championship of Kyrgyzstan in ice climbing was held in the picturesque Ala-Archa gorge, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the mountaineering section of the "Skif-Polytech" mountain club. This information was provided by the organizers, including the directorate for non-Olympic sports and the Federation of Mountaineering and Sport Climbing.

More than 40 athletes representing Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Kazakhstan participated in the competition.

The event took place on specially prepared ice tracks created on the natural terrain of the Ak-Sai waterfall. This waterfall has a height of 70 meters and consists of several cascades, located at an altitude of 2700 meters above sea level.
