Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Zalkarbek Tabaldiev, became a bronze medalist at the ranking tournament in freestyle wrestling held in Albania.

He competed in the weight category up to 70 kilograms and began his performance in the 1/8 finals.

In his first match, he faced another Kyrgyzstani, Rustam Kaharov, whom Tabaldiev defeated decisively with a score of 12:1.

He then secured another convincing victory, this time against Bulgarian athlete Kaloyan Atanasov, winning with a score of 14:3, which allowed him to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Tabaldiev met American wrestler Alec William Pontaléo and, unfortunately, lost to him with a score of 0:10.
