The ranking tournament in sports wrestling has started in Albania, as reported by United World Wrestling (UWW).
Two Kyrgyz wrestlers, Ernazar Akmataliev (in the 70 kg category) and Orozobek Toktomambetov (in the 74 kg category), have successfully reached the finals of the competition.
Orozobek will face a Georgian opponent, while Ernazar will compete against an athlete from Kazakhstan.
On his way to the finals, Orozobek has already secured victories over wrestlers from Azerbaijan and the USA, and in the decisive match, he will face an Iranian.
Ernazar, for his part, has overcome the challenges posed by athletes from Russia and Moldova and will now fight for gold against an American.
Another Kyrgyz wrestler, Zalkarbek Tabaldiev, unfortunately lost in the semifinals to a wrestler from the USA and will now aim to win a bronze medal.
