A total of 315 young boxers from all corners of the country participated in this tournament. As a result, two athletes from Kara-Balta managed to reach the podium.
Nurel Baltabaev, competing in the 46 kg weight category, took 3rd place after having fought 4 bouts. Temirlan Timurov in the 70 kg weight category won a silver medal, achieving victory in 3 matches.
Both boxers train under the guidance of Ruslan Baisariev at the "Manas" sports complex.
