The Championship of Chuy Region in Boxing Among Youth Took Place in Kara-Balta
From January 13 to 18, competitions were held in the boxing hall "Zdorovye" in the city of Kara-Balta, where young athletes born in 2010-2011 participated.
A total of 207 boxers from different corners of the Chuy region took part in the tournament.
As a result of the competitions, the winners were:
- Kurmanbekov Amirhan — in the weight category of 80 kg
- Odabashov Salim — in the weight category of 80 kg.
Both boxers train under the guidance of Ruslan Baisariev. They will represent their region at the national championship, which will take place from January 26 to 31 in Bishkek.
Also, from Kara-Balta, the following athletes will compete for the Chuy region at the national championship:
- Mamatayeva Farzona (48 kg)
- Abdyssalamova Sezim (52 kg)
- Damirbekova Zhibek (54 kg).
All of them are also students of coach R. Baisariev.
