During the discussion, emphasis was placed on developing a functional concept that takes into account the interests of the capital's residents. The mayor highlighted that the Koyomkul Sports Palace has historical significance, and its renovation must preserve the original architectural style.
A key task for the responsible services was to create a design concept in the shortest possible time, as well as to expedite the preparation of the sketch project and the phased planning of works. The construction of a swimming pool is prioritized, which will expand opportunities for water sports and increase the accessibility of sports infrastructure for the population of Bishkek.
As a result of the meeting, relevant structures were instructed to focus on preserving the historical appearance of the sports palace and to accelerate the process of its reconstruction.
