Judoist from Kyrgyzstan Wins Bronze Medal at European Cup

At the Open European Cup held on February 7-8 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Kyrgyz judoka Adis Orozmamatov won a bronze medal. This event became known thanks to a report from the judo federation.

Orozmamatov competed in the weight category up to 66 kilograms, which included 31 athletes. His journey in the tournament began in the 1/16 finals, where he achieved victory over Peter Weiss from Slovakia, and then in the 1/8 finals, he defeated Kana Emirhan Esenboga from Turkey.

In the quarterfinals, the athlete faced David Zeynalov from Russia and, unfortunately, suffered a defeat. However, he was given the opportunity to continue competing in the consolation tournament, where he managed to secure victories over Aleksa Milosevic from Serbia, Roko Rozga from Croatia, and Jakub Kurowski from Poland, ultimately earning him third place.
