Adis Orozmanatov won bronze at the European Cup

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Adis Orozmamatov, won a bronze medal at the European Cup.

The stage of the open European Cup took place on February 7-8 in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Orozmamatov competed in the weight category up to 66 kg, where 31 athletes participated.

In his first match in the 1/16 finals, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Peter Weiss from Slovakia, and then in the 1/8 finals, he beat the Turkish athlete Kan Emirhan Esenboga.

In the quarterfinal match, Orozmamatov lost to David Zeynalov from Russia, but he maintained a chance for a prize place by continuing to compete in the consolation tournament.

In the consolation round, he managed to secure victories over Aleksa Milosevic from Serbia, Roko Rozga from Croatia, and Jakub Kurowski from Poland, which allowed him to take third place and win a bronze medal.

By the way, at the beginning of February, Orozmamatov also won bronze at the open European Cup held in Bulgaria.
