Adis Orozmamatov won bronze at the European Cup in Bulgaria

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Adis Orozmamatov won a bronze medal at the international judo tournament held in Bulgaria.

The tournament, which is part of the Open European Cup, took place in Sofia from January 31 to February 1.

Orozmamatov competed in the weight category up to 66 kg, where 46 participants took part.

He began his journey in the 1/16 finals, where he won against Bulgarian judoka Samuel Dimitrov. In the next match, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Vadim Chernov from Ukraine, but in the semifinals, he lost to Stilyan Gushkov from Bulgaria.

In the fight for third place, Orozmamatov overcame Matthias Moru from France and claimed the bronze.
