A Kyrgyzstani won a silver medal at the Asian Shooting Championship
At the Asian Shooting Championship, which is taking place from February 2 to 14 in New Delhi, member of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, Imandos Bektenov, won a silver medal. This information was provided by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
385 shooters from 19 countries are participating in the tournament, highlighting the high level of competition.
The championship features three age categories, and Kyrgyzstan has delegated 16 athletes who are competing under the guidance of three coaches. As a result of the first day of competitions, in the 10 m Air Pistol discipline, two representatives from Kyrgyzstan managed to reach the finals. Askat Tokmokov placed 7th among adults, while junior Imandos Bektenov achieved an outstanding result, winning 2nd place and a silver medal.
