The championship, which is taking place from February 2 to 14 in New Delhi, India, gathered 385 athletes from 19 countries competing in three age categories. Kyrgyzstan is represented by 16 athletes and three coaches at the competition.
On the first day of the competition in the 10 m Air Pistol category, two Kyrgyzstani athletes made it to the final. Askhat Tokmokov, representing the adult category, took seventh place, while junior Imandos Bektenov finished second, winning the silver medal.
