Imandos Bektenov, representing Kyrgyzstan, won silver at the Asian Shooting Championship, which started in the capital of India. This information was announced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On the first day of the tournament, Bektenov participated in the 10 meters Air Pistol discipline among juniors, where he showed excellent results, taking second place due to his high accuracy and stability in shooting.
Another Kyrgyz shooter, Askhat Tokmokov, also demonstrated a commendable level, finishing in seventh place among adult athletes.
The competition features 385 athletes from 19 countries, and Kyrgyzstan is represented by a team of 16 shooters. The tournament will last several days, during which numerous medals will be contested in various disciplines and age categories.
