Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan approved the schedule for joint border patrols for 2026
As part of the initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting took place on April 7 between border representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. According to the State Border Service of the KR, the event was held at the "Boz Adyr" border post, where representatives of both countries discussed current issues of cooperation.
At the meeting, the border representative of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Batken section met with his colleague from Uzbekistan, who is responsible for the Sokh section.
During the discussions, practical sessions were organized on the topic "Behavior Line of Border Guards on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek State Border," and plans for interaction in 2026 were clarified, along with the dates for joint patrols being agreed upon.
The participants of the meeting noted that the conversation took place in a constructive atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of ensuring stability in the region and the readiness to strengthen good-neighborly relations at the border.
