In 2025, more than 24,000 cases of legislative violations were registered, committed by both government agencies and local authorities. This was reported by Attorney General Maksat Asanaliev during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee, where the report on the work of the General Prosecutor's Office for the specified year was discussed.
He noted that to prevent such offenses, 12,083 prosecutorial acts were issued, which led to the initiation of 570 criminal cases and the filing of 771 lawsuits in court.
“As a result of the work carried out, 34 billion 827 million soms were recovered into the state budget. Of this amount, 1 billion 243 million soms are monetary funds, and 33 billion 584 million soms represent the value of property. Additionally, 6,932 employees were held accountable for disciplinary violations, and 3,227 for administrative violations. As a result, about 16 million soms in fines were collected in favor of the state. The largest number of violations was identified in the regional divisions of ministries and departments, as well as in local self-government bodies and law enforcement agencies,” he added.
