This year, diplomas and cash prizes were awarded to 35 rangers and citizens who demonstrated courage in 40 cases of legal violations. Since the initiative began, 171 individuals have been honored for their successful actions in combating illegal hunting of the snow leopard and other wild animals, as well as for the seizure of illegal weapons.
The Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Akyl Toktobaev, emphasized that the protection of biodiversity and support for those who actively defend nature remain key areas of state environmental policy.

- - Baktygul Takeev (14,000 soms) — inspector of the tourism and ecology unit. Awarded for seizing two smoothbore rifles in the Ton district, with each subject to a lawsuit for 50,000 soms.
