Special attention was paid to current events in the Middle East
At the round table organized at the GKNB Academy, issues related to terrorism and extremism in Kyrgyzstan were discussed. This information was provided by the press service of the special services.
Participants included representatives from the Anti-Terrorism Center, the Main Department for Combating International Terrorism and Religious Extremism, as well as staff from the Main Intelligence and Counterintelligence Departments, the Legal Support Service, and experts from the territorial divisions of the GKNB.
During the meeting, special attention was given to the issues of rehabilitation and adaptation of repatriates returning from conflict zones in Syria and Iraq, as well as their integration into Kyrgyz society.
The round table participants also discussed the impact of current events in the Middle East on the religious and political situation in the country.
