The selection of candidates for working positions in the year-round mountain cluster "Ala-Too Resort" in the Jyrgalan area has been completed in Kyrgyzstan.
According to reports, several vacancies were opened during the competition, including positions for the cable car chief, machine operator, maintenance technician, electrician, and hydraulic mechanic. From February 20 to March 15, 2026, over 200 applications were submitted, and based on the initial analysis, 60 candidates met the established criteria. After interviews held in March, 20 individuals were selected.
The in-person selection took place on March 24-25 in Karakol, where 45 candidates participated.
The candidate selection process was conducted by a competition commission consisting of 9 experts, including representatives from OJSC "Ala-Too Resort," Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative in the Issyk-Kul region Ainura Sultanbaeva, and Deputy Akim of the Ak-Suu district Gulzat Suranchieva.
Currently, the final document verification for the selected candidates is underway. A final decision on their appointment will be made within 3-4 days.
According to "Ala-Too Resort," the 20 selected candidates will have the opportunity to undergo training and internships organized by Doppelmayr as part of the cable car construction contract. This program aims to prepare specialists for the operation, technical maintenance, and monitoring of the cable car's performance.
The training will last until the end of April 2026, during which participants will be provided with conditions for training, accommodation, and meals.
