During their visit to Moscow, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh expressed concern regarding the tests that migrant children undergo when enrolling in educational institutions. They proposed considering the possibility of simplifying these tasks.
The delegation, led by Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev, visited the "Maryina Roshcha" school, where they familiarized themselves with the testing process.
Based on the analysis conducted, the parliamentarians noted that the tasks are too complex and suggested ideas for their simplification. During the meeting, they also took the tests to personally assess their difficulty and content.
Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev emphasized: “Access to education for the children of our citizens abroad is a priority. It is essential that the testing conditions are clear and fair, taking into account the characteristics of children who speak other languages.”
The director of the state institution "Kyrgyztest," Batma Topoeva-Stavinskaya, highlighted the importance of assessing knowledge but stressed that such procedures should not hinder access to education. She added: “Our common goal is to create conditions so that all children can adapt and receive quality education in a comfortable environment.”
