In the Batken region, an insurance certificate for 450,000 soms was issued to a resident whose house was destroyed by fire. This information was provided by the presidential representative office in the region.
The affected individual is Buuzia Kamalidinova, a resident of the village of Kök-Tash in the Leilek district. The fire that destroyed her six-room house occurred on February 21, 2026, around 11:30 PM due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
Additionally, on January 23, 2026, a traffic accident involving a Toyota Hilux ambulance occurred in the village of Min-Chynar in the Kadamjay district, resulting in losses for the regional combined hospital. In connection with this incident, an insurance compensation of 870,470 soms was paid.
The state insurance organization makes payments in a timely manner and in full, directing funds to protect the property of citizens and institutions, as well as to mitigate the consequences of various emergencies.
According to data from the Batken branch of the State Insurance Organization, since the beginning of 2026, 9 citizens in the region have received 2,193,275 soms in compensation. In particular:
- 6 citizens for damaged housing under homeowners insurance — 988,406 soms;
- 2 citizens under motor third-party liability insurance for damage in a traffic accident — 334,399 soms;
- under comprehensive car insurance for the ambulance — 870,470 soms.
