According to Turumbekov, "CASCO Extra" was developed as an affordable alternative to traditional CASCO and is priced comparably to the OSAGO policy.
"The basic OSAGO rate starts at 1,600 soms per year, and for a similar amount, car owners can obtain additional insurance for their vehicle under the CASCO Extra program," he added.
The maximum insurance coverage for the new product is up to 450,000 soms per year, with a limit of 150,000 soms per insurance case.
One of the advantages of "CASCO Extra" is the absence of the need for a mandatory vehicle inspection when obtaining the policy, which significantly simplifies the process.
"We initially aimed for the automation of this product. After completing testing and verifying all processes, we plan to transition to a digital format for policy issuance," Turumbekov noted.
Currently, the "CASCO Extra" policy can only be obtained at the offices of the insurance company, but in the future, remote purchasing is expected to be available.
