Erlist Akunbekov, the Minister of Agriculture, recently visited the village of Emgekchil in the Naryn region to assess the epizootic situation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
During his visit, he, along with veterinary specialists, inspected local livestock farms and evaluated the condition of the animals. The minister emphasized the need to isolate sick animals to prevent the spread of infections.
Additionally, local veterinary services received instructions to enhance their informational outreach to the population and to respond promptly to emerging issues.
Akunbekov also met with the residents of Emgekchil.
During this meeting, issues regarding preparations for spring fieldwork, seed provision, and the need for medications for veterinary services were discussed. The minister instructed the need to strengthen control and cooperation with local residents.
The residents also raised questions about the return of 634 hectares that had been converted to pastures, as well as the lifting of restrictions for the establishment of cooperatives and the provision of financial support. The minister demanded to expedite the resolution of these issues through legal procedures.
