The minister checked the epizootic situation in the region
Erlist Akunbekov, head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, recently conducted an inspection of livestock farms in the village of Emgekchil, located in the Naryn region. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the current epizootic situation in the area, as reported by the ministry's press service.
Together with veterinary specialists, Akunbekov visited several farms to assess the condition of local livestock and discuss important issues with farmers. He emphasized the need to isolate sick animals to prevent the spread of infections.
Additionally, local veterinary services were given clear instructions to enhance educational work among the local population, as well as to promptly address emerging issues and take necessary measures.
It is worth noting that outbreaks of diseases among livestock are being recorded in Russia, and experts point to various reasons, including cases of foot-and-mouth disease, which lead to the confiscation and destruction of animals.
In Kazakhstan, additional measures have also been implemented to ensure veterinary safety.
