
The Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, recently held a series of meetings with representatives from the agricultural sector, including local farmers and livestock farm managers. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
During these discussions, important aspects of livestock development and veterinary safety were addressed.
According to the agency, livestock breeders expressed their concerns about the increase in animal diseases in recent years. They pointed out the need to strengthen preventive measures, conduct timely diagnostics, and ensure rapid response from veterinary services.
Erlis Akunbekov emphasized that preventing epizootic risks is a key priority in agricultural policy. In accordance with his instructions, the relevant services must enhance veterinary control, monitor the epizootic situation, activate preventive measures on farms, and respond promptly to all reports of animal diseases.
It was also reported that funds have been allocated from the state budget for the purchase of biological products and diagnostic kits for laboratories.
The ministry strongly urges livestock owners to closely monitor the condition of their animals, promptly inform veterinary specialists about signs of diseases, and strictly follow the recommendations of the veterinary service. Joint efforts and coordinated actions will help ensure epizootic safety and contribute to the sustainable development of livestock farming.
