In Kyrgyzstan, 5,600 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From March 16 to 22, Kyrgyzstan registered 5,683 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza, as reported by 24.kg citing the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

Experts noted that compared to the previous week, the number of cases decreased by 11.5%.
Children under 14 years old make up 69% of the total number of cases.
Epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.

Medical professionals strongly recommend that the population follow preventive measures, avoid visiting crowded places, and refrain from self-medication, instead seeking medical assistance at local clinics.
