During the meeting, the final stage of negotiations on the draft agreement between the governments regarding air communication was completed.
The main aspects of the document were discussed, and the parties reached an agreement on the final version of the agreement.
The signed agreement will create the necessary legal conditions for the active development of air communication between Kyrgyzstan and Austria. It will not only allow for the establishment of regular flights but also increase the volume of passenger and cargo transportation, as well as strengthen ties in the fields of business, tourism, and culture.
It is worth noting that on September 25, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Montreal between the State Agency for Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan and the Austrian Civil Aviation Authority, aimed at developing partnership and exchanging experience in the field of aviation regulation.
