
The reconstruction of the Bishkek–Kuntuu–Shopokov road is currently underway, during which the roadway is planned to be expanded to four lanes. This information was provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Work has already begun on the section of the road from 0 to 3.9 km, including the installation of curbs and laying asphalt on the sidewalks in the village of Kuntuu. Additionally, on the segment connecting Kuntuu and the village of Tokbay, the roadbed is being reinforced, and tree removal is taking place on the section from Tokbay to Kara-Sakala.
The total length of the road is 12.4 km.
