According to information from the muftiate, this decision was made in response to requests from the citizens and with the support of President Sadyr Japarov.
The schedule of events at Old Square is as follows:
- 07:00-07:30 – recitation of the Quran;
- 07:30-07:40 – moderation: Shukur Azhy Ismailov;
- 07:40-08:10 – religious sermons by Zholdoshbek Azhy Abdildaev and Bakit Azhy Kaikiev;
- 08:10-08:30 – speech by the Supreme Mufti on the order and rules for conducting the Eid prayer;
- 08:20-08:30 – formation of participants;
- 08:30-08:50 – performance of the Eid prayer and festive prayer.
- 07:30-08:00 – recitation of the Quran;
- 08:00-08:25 – religious sermons;
- 08:25-08:30 – explanation of the order and rules for conducting the Eid prayer;
- 08:30 – performance of the Eid prayer.
It is worth reminding that in recent years, the Eid prayer in Bishkek was held only in mosques due to safety and health concerns.
