Today, an online meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, attended by Minister Ulan Niyazbekov. According to the press service, the main focus of the meeting was on the results of the police's work for the first quarter of 2026 and preparations for maintaining order during the upcoming holidays — Orozo Ait and Nowruz.
From March 20 to 22, law enforcement officers will operate in an enhanced mode. The number of police patrols will be increased in places of mass gatherings, near mosques, and at celebration venues. In total, more than 12,000 personnel will participate in maintaining public order.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that any attempts to destabilize the situation, as well as the dissemination of false information and provocative actions, will be promptly suppressed.
