On March 20, the country will celebrate Orozо Ait — one of the key holidays for Muslims.
The Ait prayer will take place in the areas of mosques. On the day of the holiday, more than 10,000 police officers will ensure order. They will operate in an enhanced mode, paying special attention to safety and preventing offenses, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The police appeal to citizens to maintain order, show respect for one another, and follow the lawful requirements of law enforcement agencies.
The program for the Ait prayer (according to DUMK):
• 07:30 – 08:00 — sermon;
• 08:00 – 08:25 — greetings from imam-khatibs and state officials;
• 08:25 – 08:30 — instruction on the rules of the Ait prayer;
• 08:30 – 08:50 — festive prayer.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic congratulates all Muslims on the upcoming Orozо Ait, wishing peace, prosperity, and tranquility in every home.
