In Bishkek, with the onset of warm weather, employees of the Patrol Service of the Police have begun conducting large-scale raid activities aimed at checking drivers of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds.
The main objective of these activities, according to the agency, is to enhance road safety, reduce the number of traffic accidents, and increase discipline among owners of two-wheeled vehicles.
During the checks, the Patrol Service employees hold discussions with drivers, explaining the requirements of the Traffic Rules and reminding them of the necessity to comply with established norms.
Special attention is paid to the technical characteristics of the vehicles. If the engine volume does not meet established standards or if necessary documents are missing, drivers are issued protocols for violations.
The Patrol Service of the Police emphasizes that operating motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds without the appropriate documents, as well as non-compliance with technical requirements, poses a serious threat to the safety of both the drivers themselves and other road users.
