During the meetings, important issues concerning the development of livestock farming and veterinary safety were discussed.
Farmers expressed their concern about the increasing number of diseases among livestock in recent years. In their opinion, it is necessary to strengthen preventive measures, as well as to diagnose and respond to emerging health issues in animals in a timely manner.
Erlis Akunbekov emphasized that one of the key areas of agricultural policy is the prevention of epizootic risks. He instructed the relevant services to enhance veterinary control, actively monitor the epizootic situation, and promptly respond to reports of animal diseases, as well as to intensify preventive work in farms.
In addition, it was reported that funds from the republican budget have been allocated for the purchase of biopreparations and laboratory diagnostic kits.
The ministry urged livestock owners to take responsibility for the care of animals, to timely inform veterinarians about signs of diseases, and to follow the recommendations of the veterinary service.
Joint and coordinated actions by all parties will help ensure epizootic safety and contribute to the sustainable development of livestock farming.
