The Ministry of Agriculture will strengthen veterinary control due to the situation with livestock diseases
During his working trip to the regions, the minister visited several farms and held meetings with livestock breeders and representatives of the agricultural sector.
The meetings addressed current issues related to the development of livestock farming and ensuring veterinary safety.
"Livestock breeders noted an increase in cases of animal diseases in recent years and emphasized the need to strengthen preventive measures, as well as timely diagnostics and prompt responses from veterinary services," the statement said.
In response to these concerns, the minister instructed the responsible services to enhance veterinary control, monitor the epizootic situation, activate preventive measures in farms, and respond quickly to reports of animal diseases.
Additionally, it became known that funds have been allocated from the republican budget for the purchase of biological products and laboratory diagnostic kits.
The Ministry of Agriculture urged livestock owners to immediately inform veterinary specialists of any signs of disease and to follow the recommendations of the veterinary service.
