
Today, March 11, a ceremony was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan to introduce the new minister, Kanatbek Chynybaev. The information about his appointment was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, Daniyar Amangeldiev, as reported by the press service of the ministry.
Amangeldiev emphasized that Kanatbek Chynybaev has extensive experience in emergency services and is ready for effective management of the ministry. He also noted that the ministry has important tasks related to reducing the risks of emergencies and enhancing preventive work.
Kanatbek Chynybaev was appointed to this position by the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, who relieved him from his previous job.


Kanatbek Chynybaev was born on November 4, 1983. In 2006, he graduated from the Issyk-Kul State Technical University named after Ishak Razakov, and in 2018 — from the Academy of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
From 2006 to 2022, he worked in various structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.
Since July 2022, he has been on a business trip at the Situational Center of the Presidential Administration, remaining in the personnel reserve of the Armed Forces. In February 2026, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations.
For the high quality of his service duties, Chynybaev received several departmental awards, including the medals "For Impeccable Service" II degree and "For Excellent Military Service" I and II degrees.
