The deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, at their meeting, decided to approve the candidacy of Kanatbek Chynybai for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations.
The information about the candidacy was presented by Bektur Zulpiev, the permanent representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers in parliament.
Chynybai, born in 1983 in Kara-Balta, graduated from the Kyrgyz Technical University in 2006 and completed the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in 2018.
From 2006 to 2008, Chynybai worked as a chief specialist in the Jayil department of the Northern Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and from 2018 to 2020, he worked in the central office of this agency. From 2022 to 2026, he served as an expert on emergency situations in the Presidential Administration. From February 2026 until March 10, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations.
