In Bishkek, employees of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate conducted a raid aimed at identifying violations of migration legislation, called "Illegal".
During the inspections, various sewing workshops and production enterprises were examined, where the labor of foreign citizens might be used, according to information from the press service of the Bishkek Internal Affairs Directorate.
As a result of the operation, 64 foreigners were taken to the police, who, as it turned out, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on visas issued for one company but were actually working in other organizations, which is a violation of the law.
In addition, cases of illegal engagement of foreign labor were recorded. Administrative protocols were drawn up against three employers based on Article 93 of the Code of Offenses, and the total amount of fines amounted to 65,000 soms.
Currently, the possibility of taking measures against foreign citizens in accordance with current legislation, including potential deportation from the country, is being considered.
The Bishkek Internal Affairs Directorate reminds employers of the need for strict compliance with migration legislation and reports that such inspections will continue in the capital.
