According to the press service, a check was carried out the day before in sewing workshops and other production enterprises where foreigners might be employed.
Of the 90 detained, most arrived in Kyrgyzstan on visas issued for one company but were actually working in other organizations. Currently, the issue of their deportation is being considered.
During the raid, cases of illegal employment of foreign workers were also identified. Protocols were drawn up against employers under Article 93 "Violation of the rules for attracting and using foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic" of the Code of Offenses, with a total fine amounting to 65,000 soms.
