In Bishkek, during the raid "Illegal," more than 90 foreigners were taken to the police.
On February 12, employees of the Bishkek City Police Department, engaged in the fight against extremism and illegal migration, conducted inspections in sewing workshops and other production facilities where foreigners might be employed.
As a result of the raid, more than 90 foreign nationals were taken to the police. According to the press service, these individuals arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a visa issued for one company, but were actually working in other organizations. Now the issue of their deportation from the country needs to be resolved.
Additionally, during the raid, instances of illegal recruitment and use of foreign labor were discovered. Protocols were drawn up against employers under Article 93 ("Violation of the rules for the recruitment and use of foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic") of the Code of Offenses, and they were fined a total of 65,000 soms. In total, fines were imposed on more than 8 companies.
