The city administration has called on residents to actively participate in the cleaning and beautification of public spaces.
A two-month beautification campaign has been announced in Bishkek, the capital's administration reported.
According to local authorities, the goal of the clean-up events is to improve the sanitary condition of the city, enhance greenery, and overall beautify the urban infrastructure. In accordance with the city administration's order, as part of this initiative, residents will participate in the sanitary cleaning of streets, parks, squares, and yards, as well as in planting trees and shrubs.
Additionally, enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership will be invited to the clean-up events to ensure broad participation in this campaign.
It is worth noting that recently, residents of the capital have criticized the city administration for the mass cutting down of green spaces and insufficient attention to watering newly planted vegetation, as well as for the mandatory involvement of schoolchildren, students, and employees of budget organizations in the clean-up work.
