In order to improve the quality of urban infrastructure and enhance sanitary conditions, the Bishkek City Hall has announced the start of a two-month campaign dedicated to landscaping and greening. This information was provided by the press service of the city hall.
The period for the events is scheduled from March 14 to May 16, 2026. During these days, various activities aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment and improving the ecological situation for the residents and guests of the city will be implemented.
As part of this two-month campaign, work is planned for the sanitary cleaning of streets, yards, parks, and squares, as well as the planting of trees and shrubs. Additionally, the improvement of public spaces and the organization of order in the adjacent territories of enterprises and institutions will be carried out.
Organizations and enterprises of all forms of ownership will be invited to participate in these events.
The heads of administrative districts, together with municipal territorial administrations, have been instructed to coordinate the work on sanitary cleaning and greening, as well as to interact with property owners, homeowners' associations, and the local population. An important aspect is the involvement of public organizations and entrepreneurs to ensure the timely removal of solid waste and to prevent the formation of unauthorized dumps. Control over the sanitary condition of the territories, including markets, will also be carried out.
According to paragraph 168 of the Rules for the Improvement of the City of Bishkek, approved by the resolution of the Bishkek City Council on August 29, 2025, No. 150, participation in the campaigns for sanitary cleaning and improvement is mandatory for all citizens and employees of institutions and organizations.
The Bishkek City Hall calls on everyone to actively participate in the greening and improvement activities within the framework of the announced two-month campaign.
