About one hundred countries have been invited to the VI World Nomad Games (WNG). This was announced by Urmat Asanbaev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of science, education, innovative development, information technology, culture, sports, and affairs.
According to him, more than 2,800 athletes are expected to participate in these competitions.
The program of the games includes 43 sports that have already been approved.
The competitions will take place at four venues in the Issyk-Kul region.
Specifically, various wrestling competitions will be held at the Gazprom sports complex, while national horse games are planned at the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata.
Sports events will also take place at the Kychyn pasture, and intellectual games will be held at the Eurasia hotel.
We remind you that the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 6 in Kyrgyzstan.
