An exhibition dedicated to Urkuya Salieva has opened in Bishkek

On March 6, an exhibition titled "Urkuya Salieva — a symbol of courage and freedom" opened at the Memorial House-Museum named after Mikhail Frunze, dedicated to the life and achievements of Urkuya Salieva, one of the brightest figures of the era of social change in Kyrgyzstan.

The exhibition includes materials that reveal her biography, social activities, and historical events of the 1920s and 1930s. Visitors will be able to see archival photographs, documents, and the feature film "Worshiping the Fire," which help to create an image of a woman who actively advocated for change in society and gender equality.
The goal of the exhibition is to preserve historical memory and deepen the understanding of the role of women in the development of Kyrgyz society.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until March 20 and invites everyone to familiarize themselves with important moments in the history of our country.
