In Bishkek, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlis Akunbekov, got acquainted with the work of the A. Dyusheev Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine.
According to the press service of the ministry, during the working trip, the minister studied the material and technical base of the institution, modern laboratories, and key areas of scientific research, as well as activities to ensure veterinary safety.
In addition, a meeting was held with industry professionals, where important issues related to the development of veterinary medicine and possible solutions, as well as existing problems in the scientific field, were discussed.
Akunbekov noted in his speech that the priority areas of state policy are the development of the veterinary sector, improving the quality of scientific research, and implementing innovative methods in production processes.
