By July, 300 electric charging stations will be installed in Kyrgyzstan
During today's meeting between the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaibek Ibraev, and the CEO of Blue Networks, No Sun Yong, issues of cooperation in the development of electric charging infrastructure and the implementation of new energy technologies in the country were discussed.
It became known that by July 2024, it is planned to install 300 charging stations for electric vehicles in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of Blue Networks noted that there are already 3,500 such stations operating in Korea.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized the importance of these initiatives for promoting a green economy, increasing attractiveness for investors, and strengthening relations between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.
For reference: cooperation with Blue Networks Co., Ltd. began in 2024. In August of the same year, a memorandum of understanding was signed between OJSC "Chakan HPP" and the company for joint work on the preparation and operation of charging stations.
