By July, a Korean company will prepare 300 electric charging stations for cars in Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, focusing on the development of electric charging station infrastructure and the implementation of modern technologies in Kyrgyzstan's energy sector.
As noted, the Korean company already has significant experience in this area, having installed 3,500 charging stations in the Republic of Korea. This underscores its technological competence and readiness to implement projects in Kyrgyzstan.
The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation, including projects for the construction of solar power plants and the development of renewable energy sources.
Issues of digitalization in the energy sector were also discussed. The company presented information on the development of specialized software for managing charging infrastructure. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to transfer access keys and logins to the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic to ensure transparency and effective management of the system.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized the importance of these projects for the development of a green economy, increasing investment attractiveness, and strengthening Kyrgyz-Korean partnership.
