On February 26, a working meeting took place at the presidential representative office of the region, where topics related to preparations for spring fieldwork and the conduct of the agricultural census were discussed.
The meeting was chaired by Iliyas Tashbaev, the first deputy head of the Osh region. It was attended by heads of departments of the regional apparatus, first deputies of the heads of district state administrations, as well as representatives of the Osh water management authority and district agricultural development offices.
The agenda of the meeting included the following issues:
— preparation for spring fieldwork in 2026;
— providing farmers with quality seeds, subsidized fuel and lubricants, and agricultural machinery;
— implementation of the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers in this area.
Measures for preparing for the agricultural census were also discussed, and the need to strengthen control on the ground was raised.
