At today's session of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies discussed the issue of approving Erlis Akunbekov's appointment as Deputy Prime Minister, who will be responsible for water resources, agriculture, and the processing industry, as well as Damirbek Osmonov for the position of Minister of Health.
Bektur Zulpiev, the permanent representative of the president and the Cabinet of Ministers in parliament, presented the relevant proposal from the head of state to the deputies.
During the discussion, parliamentarians emphasized the need to address existing problems in the areas of water resources, agriculture, and health care.
As a result of the voting, the Jogorku Kenesh approved the appointments of Erlis Akunbekov and Damirbek Osmonov as ministers. They were previously confirmed by a presidential decree as acting officials.
