What is the reason for the 50% increase in heating tariffs for "social housing"?
According to Energy Minister Taalaybek Ibraev, the decision to introduce a night tariff for electricity was made at the request of deputies. This statement was made at a meeting of the parliamentary committee dealing with industrial policy, transport, and the energy complex.
The official added that the night tariff will be 25% lower than the regular rate.
It is worth noting that this year, electricity tariffs will increase by 27 tyiyns.
Additionally, in 2026, it is expected that tariffs for heating and hot water for "social housing" will rise by 50%. This applies to apartments up to 80 square meters and houses up to 150 square meters.
