
The current tariff is 1 som 37 tyiyns
Starting from May 1, the cost of electricity will increase by 27 tyiyns, leading to a new tariff of 1 som 64 tyiyns. This was announced by the Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, at a meeting of the committee on industrial policy, transport, energy, architecture, and construction.
He noted that in 2025, the tariff was 1 som 37 tyiyns, and starting from May 1, it will rise to 1 som 64 tyiyns, which corresponds to an increase of 27 tyiyns. According to forecasts, in 2030, for households consuming up to 700 kilowatt-hours, the tariff will be 3 som 40 tyiyns," the minister added.
In addition, he announced the introduction of a night tariff, which will be 1.7 percent cheaper.
