According to statements by the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev, the electricity tariff will increase by 27 tyiyns in 2026. This information was announced at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of industrial policy, transport, the fuel and energy complex, construction, and architecture.

The minister emphasized that starting from May of each year, the electricity tariff will increase according to the previously approved schedule.

He also added that in 2027, an increase of 33 tyiyns is planned, in 2028 — 39 tyiyns, in 2029 — 47 tyiyns, and in 2030 — 57 tyiyns. According to him, only after these changes will the tariff correspond to the cost of electricity production in the country.
