All meat products in the markets of Bishkek undergo mandatory veterinary control – Ministry of Agriculture
All meat products entering the markets of Bishkek must undergo veterinary control before receiving permission for sale. Veterinary laboratories operate directly on-site, ensuring product safety. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The agency's report states that wholesale meat trading points continue to operate at the "Alamedin," "Orto-Sai," and "Dordoy-Dyikan" markets, opening from 5:00 to 6:00 AM, providing local residents and entrepreneurs with quality products.
Before meat is allowed for sale, specialists thoroughly check its origin, the presence of all necessary accompanying documents, and veterinary certificates.
The Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes that this control is aimed at protecting public health and preventing the sale of products that do not meet established standards. Regular monitoring of compliance with sanitary and veterinary norms is conducted at the markets of Bishkek.
